Do these conditions apply to my booking?
  • These conditions apply to bookings completed for "pay on the day of your tour".  
  • If you have pre-paid by credit card on a related internet shopping cart facility, please observe booking conditions stated there.  
  • On-line credit card payment applies to BOOKEASY, ATW V3 FRONT DESK and afiliated on-line services.    [to top]
Payments Cash, Visa, Master Card, EFT
  • We prefer cash payment " Accept Visa & MasterCard (No Amex)
  • Payment requested on last day of service
  • We charge a $3.00 credit card administration fee for all sales
  • Your EFT payment in advance can be arranged

Luggage Storage & Transfers
  • We do not provide a luggage storage service
  • We recommend you have travel insurance
  • A small amount of luggage may be carried on day tours with prior permission    [to top]
No Show Fee
  • Return and outbound services where you do not meet the agreed service date and time and have not made a very reasonable attempt to contact us to advise us of your cancellation, you will be charged 60% of the original quotation/ticket value as a no show fee
  • We will ask you for credit card details when booking a one way return journey    [to top]
Travel Insurance
  • You should consider purchasing a travel insurance policy to cover losses, damages and emergency evacuation    [to top]

Changes To Tour Itineraries
  • We will refund your ticket if you are not satisfied with our service.
  • Tour schedules, costs, entry fees may change due to operational requirements.
  • We always work to minimise disruptions and have interesting alternatives when we are unable to complete a scheduled itinerary due to conditions beyond our control.    [to top]
Concessions & Discounted Rates
  • We do not offer concession rates - everyone pays the same rate
  • We do offer discounts for larger group numbers on private tours     [to top]
Ticket Inclusions & Exclusions
  • All entry fees, tasting costs are included
  • Lunch and food/drinks are included only where specified

Stove Fuel Supply
  • As you ask, we supply fuel brands as requested or an equivalent item
  • Liquid fuel - you pay for actual amount consumed
  • Gas Canisters - you pay the full price for used cans, regardless of the amount used
  • Canisters are certified full on hand-out
  • We donate used gas cans to local scout and guide groups    [to top]
Gear Hire
  • We provide free collection and return of hire gear from Paddy Pallin Launceston
  • No gear- hire services for one way journeys
  • You should comply with Paddy Pallin gear hire conditions, we are not responsible for repair and cleaning of hire equipment
  • We can clean tents, gaiters, sleeping mats and sleeping bag liners for a minimal fee, please advise your requirements    [to top]
EPERB (PLB) Hire
  • PLBs can be hired from Tasmanian National Parks Visitor Information Centres and Service Tasmania
  • We can provide a return service to Tas National Parks
  • Ideally you should hire a PLB from a supplier at home as we may not be able to guarantee availability here at all times    [to top]
No Show Fee 60%
  • Return and outbound services where you do not meet the agreed service date and time and have not made a very reasonable attempt to contact us to advise us of your cancellation, you will be charged 60% of the original quotation/ticket value as a no show fee

Late Service Charge 20%
  • If your agreed outbound pick up time with us is missed by more than 2 hours, as a result of your connecting travel delays (air service arrives late) we may ask you to pay a late fee of 20% of your original quotation/ticket
  • We will wait for your arrival, complete your service as agreed, however we reserve the right change or cancel due to safety concerns if we have to travel on remote country roads after dark in adverse weather conditions    [to top]
Early Exits
  • Sometimes walkers finish early, we will endeavour to meet your earlier time or as soon as possible    [to top]
Luggage Storage & Transfers
  • We provide a secure luggage storage service for round trip services only " No one way services
  • We recommend you have travel insurance
  • Luggage is returned to you at the start of your return journey with us
  • You may choose to have your luggage delivered to your end of walk, accommodation place, before you start your return journey with us.
  • This may also include the Lake St Clair Wilderness Resort who may provide a luggage holding service, in the event you are not using their accommodation, at a cost to you, we will leave your luggage as agreed with the accommodation/resort operator and ask them to secure the items for your collection at an agreed time
  • Our luggage transfer service is free for round trips
  • We may not always be able to deliver your luggage several days in advance of your return service with us. Talk to us about our schedule    [to top]

Cancellations

Quotations Validity Period & Confirmations
  • Our quotations are valid for a period of 21 days
  • We will confirm by email or by telephone your booking details

Meeting Connecting Transport Services
  • We are not responsible for you not meeting connecting transport services
  • You should choose make reasonable time to connect to other services in the event that our service is delayed, a result of circumstances beyond our control    [to top]
Waldhiem Cabins Key & OLT Pass Collection
  • You are responsible for the booking and payment.

    Late arrival (after 4:00pm) key and pass collection:

  • We will contact parks and advise them of your late arrival
  • We will arrange the supply of passes and keysYou need to tell us about:
  • Your cabin booking details (booking name)
  • Your Overland Track booking details (booking name)
  • Confirm you have/not paid your National Parks Pass fee
  • If we do not receive this information you may have to return to the Transit Centre next morning to collect your passes     [to top]
