The Journey We'll meet you at your Launceston or Tamar Valley accommodation and return so there is no need to drive. We could choose to visit the Pipers Brook and Tamar Valley wine regions which have fine well established small and large vineyards with an excellent variety of wine styles on tasting. Lunch Sorry, we don't prepare trendy on-road picnic baskets, we're embarrassingly ordinary cooks, and rely on people who know about food and wine. Lunch could be at vineyard cafes, country pubs or bring a picnic. We can provide cheese platters, tea and coffee too. An informative walk through the vines, and an uncomplicated fun wine tasting guide is provided. We can arrange workshops with local winemakers and tour winery facilities. The Wineries Carefully selected wineries, we could explore 5 t0 7 wineries. They are award winning, small boutique and major wineries found along the wine trail. Your choice of wineries may be included too. It's interesting to compare the reds, whites, sparkles, and the odd blend or port. If you like what you taste and buy wine along the trail we can take care of shipping your wine back home at very reasonable rates, insured, within Australia. All group tours receive a complementary web site photo gallery featuring photos and information about the places we visited. The Finish Consider a visit to the Hillwood Strawberry Farm (Dec to Feb), sample strawberry wine, vinegar's and local cheeses. A generously satisfying and interesting day out with an intuitive guide.
